Author Application

The Cyber Directive is seeking thoughtful, curious, and motivated students to join our team as contributing authors. If you are passionate about cybersecurity, law, technology, or policy and want to develop your ideas in a rigorous academic setting, we invite you to apply.

As an author, you will work closely with our editorial team to pitch ideas, conduct research, and write original pieces that reflect critical thinking and interdisciplinary insight. Authors are expected to attend section meetings, meet deadlines, and engage actively in the revision process. Most authors contribute at least one polished piece per semester during our publication cycles.

Joining The Cyber Directive gives you the opportunity to strengthen your academic and professional portfolio, sharpen your research and writing skills, and contribute to one of the only student-run cybersecurity journals in the country. You will also be part of a collaborative community dedicated to addressing the pressing issues shaping our digital future.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis. You can expect to hear back within two weeks of submission. Selected applicants will be invited to a brief interview with our editorial team.
